I was not going to miss this event for anything in the world. Not only to enjoy good music, but especially to meet people. I was only waiting for one thing, to bathe in the crowd and to immerse myself in the athmosphere.

You may wonder what is Summerjam. Summerjam is the Europe’s biggest reggae festival happening in July now Cologne. With artists from around the world and festival-goers from all over the World.

PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD…

There are young people, old people, children. People of all origins and colors; whites, blacks, asians, latinos, etc… That’s this diversity of people I enjoy in this festival, besides music.

Parents come with their children. Being a father too, I can only imagine my boys enjoying vibes in few years.

BETWEN CULTURAL DISCOVERY AND SENSES’ AWAKENING…

We are not only thrilled by the music, but colors and food take you around the world. From Africa to Caribbean islands.

Flags are floating everywhere. Even if I never understood this idea of being tired of holding a flag throughout a concert, i get the meaning of those who wants to show where they come from. Not to mention the colors of hair or scarves of all colo

And who does not appreciate good food, from local to Caribbean specialities. I deeply recommend ‘Jerk chicken’, an authentic chicken recipe straight from Jamaica. It’s tasty, fragrant, smoky all at once. A must try.

PEOPLE I MET…

As usual, it was a lot of fun, good vibes, and full of memories. This festival is always a good opportunity to quench my thirst for intense interaction with others.
